GROUP: Boxing Gym Recce with photos

After a very successful recce to the boxing gym we have decided that is will be the location of our film opening. Here are some useful shots that we are thinking of using in the film opening.

This is a shot of the boxer wearing a hooded jacket hitting the bad. The boxer is out of focus however the ring ropes are in focus. We could use this throughout are production of the boxer training hiding his identity.

This is a low angle shot of the boxer making him look more intimidating again hiding his identity. It also shows the far corner of the ring in which we could position a trainer. Furthermore there are aspects of iconography with the boxing bags in the background.

This is another shot through the ropes however the rope is now in the line of the shot, when it comes to filming our opening there will be two boxers in the ring, however the identity of the main protagonist is still hidden due to his arm covering up his face.

This is a POV shot of which would be the antagonist getting hit by the protagonist, I feel with the use of handy cam when we shoot the opening it will create a really successful effect.

Again this is a POV shot which we are really looking forward to using in our production, this technique is used in other successful films such as The Fighter which recently won two Oscars, Ali and million dollar baby, it is a extremely recognisable part of boxing and would engage the audience brilliantly.

This is a shot of the protagonist in the corner, in our opening we can include a trainer in the shot, furthermore the characters identity is still not revealed.

This is an over the shoulder shot of the protagonist, in our opening we could have another boxer facing the protagonist taking his punches allowing the audience to feel involved

Props

This shot shows the ring and a couple of heavy bags in the background.
